I'm in love and I don't care who knows it!

Yep I LOVE this boy. He is so sweet and good natured. You may ask if Wade is jealous of my love for this boy.....

I think not. He loves him just as much.

Here is our cute lil bug

Last night while intently listening to dad on the phone while he is away on business.
I am pretty sure he loves his Great grandma Jeanne... and know she loves him!

Below is a video of me and him playing. Lets be honest it is a bit hard to play and hold a camera at the same time...so the video is a bit shaky but hold out for the sweet smile around 18 seconds...you will love it. also as a side note you may want to mute the video... I am a crazy mom.Tata!

Sick day

Well tomorrow is my first day back to work. I have mixed emotions. I am excited to get into new projects but am sad because I loved being a stay at home mom. Anyways I am at home sick today and the boys are off at church so I thought I would post a few new pictures and give an update. First off... the cutest baby in the world.... He LOVES bath time and if I am quick I can get him in the tub and catch that perfect "Oh I am in the bath, I LOVE baths" smile. These are two different bath days in his 11th week of life. SO cute.
Oh little boy is sitting up... kinda. We got him a Bumbo chair and he loved it! The minute we set him in the chair he gave a huge smile... which I missed on camera, but here he is sitting up

Last but not least.... We started framing our basement.. well we have cut 6 pieces of wood and have the supplies. We are excited. Thank you to everyone who showed up and helped even when we did not ask for help. We love our neighbors.

Our rolling boy!

So stinking cute... just waiting to go to the doctor.

Taylor will be two months old on Sunday! I can't believe how fast time has gone. He is such a good and happy little guy. He just started rolling over on Tuesday (the day he turned 8 weeks) He has eczema but is taking a medication to help clear it up and he looks awesome. I can't believe how big he is getting. The video has me talking to him.. please try to ignore the baby talk =)

The day of his 2 month apt. (Before he started on the meds) Look at his poor red cheeks. (check out this picture edited HERE)
Today after 3 days of meds

Speaking of going to the doctors... he is He is 11 lbs 13 ounces (61%) he is 22.75 inches tall (51%) and his head is 39 cm (32%)
Here are pictures from the 3 times he has been to the doctor for check ups. This really shows how much he has changed The first picture is when he was 3 days old, the next is his 2 week appointment and the last one is his 2 month he was 1 day short of 8 weeks.

Bear Lake and other fun stuff

Our first big harvest from our garden!

Taylor loved riding on the boat... well at least he didn't wake up at all so I assume he loved it! We also discovered that he is a ladies man... Amelia had no idea what hit her! =) Thank you to Pat and Anna for the pictures.

The view from the Rich family cabin. SO pretty

Tay lovin' aunt Ronelle
My two Ronelle/RaNell's finally met!

Playing the very competitive "corn hole" game with Steve and Wade. Many tournements were played that day

Dex even wanted in on the game

Cute boys.

My mom raced in her first half marathon! My brother Rob and her both raced. We are so proud of her! Taylor was so proud he talked me into running the last .1 miles with her with him strapped in the carrier.

Proud supporters

Great Grandma Malan and Taylor

Taylor's Room

Here is Taylor's room. His Birth mom and I have a cute rocking chair and bookshelf to refinish and put in the room but basically it is decorated... for now =). Let me take you on a tour.

His room when it was the guest room

His room in process

Finished

Here are the details

The Banner "Welcome Taylor" I can not in any way take credit for this. These super cute gals in my ward made this for my shower and I liked it so much that I put it up in his room. It is perfect and the colors totally go with his room.

The bed

I really fell in love with THIS bedding set from target so I ordered it and made the wall hangings that hang on the wall above the crib. To see how I made them go to THIS post. Wade got the crib from Wal Mart. I think it turned out really cute.

This was a gift from my sister Janee. It is a lavender baggie and goes perfectly with his room.

The other wall hangings are also explained on the post referenced above. The rocking chair came from Babies R Us and the blanket hanging on it was made by my mom.

This little bookcase is still a work in progress. I got the jars in the middle shelf as a gift a long time ago. I bought the green storage bin from IKEA and the picture on the top shelf was a cute gift from my ward shower. I still have to hang the picture you see on the bottom shelf.

So that is the tour. I think it is shaping up to be pretty cute. can't wait when it is totally finished.
